Reading is alive...

Welcome to the very first blog about Infinity Literary Magazine, the California Central Valley's new literary celebration of writers and photographers.  The magazine will be hot off the press in late February and will feature short stories, poetry, personal essays, interviews and black and white photography by valley youth and established valley writers and photographers.  Our first edition will featured poetry from Dixie Salazar, author of "Hotel Fresno", and the recent "Flamenco Hips and Red Mud Feet" and  Tim Z. Hernandez, American Book Award winner and author of the 2010 novel "Breathing, In Dust."  and more. You won't want to miss a photo essay featuring the work of Valley photographer Gary Christiansen.

The magazine will also feature the up and coming writing and photographic talents of valley youth.  In fact, the entire magazine is being co-edited by both youth and adult writers.  If you have the means to donate to help aid the magazines huge printing costs, it is quite easy to do.  Just click on the Paypal button to the left.  All proceeds to the magazine will go to our printing budget.

Be on the lookout for our next blog post to inform you of our big Infinity Magazine Launch Party in late February.  The launch party will feature readings from our our featured writers, live music by Lance Canales and The Flood and, of course, our magazine!
